Another President Biden Immigration Executive Order

President Biden addressed the nation yesterday, unveiling more executive action on the border. On the 12th anniversary of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, the President announced a new program that would grant legal status and citizenship to an estimated 500,000 illegal immigrants married to U.S. citizens. Former acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and executive director and chair of the Center for Homeland Security and Immigration at the America First Policy Institute, Chad Wolf, joins the Rundown to discuss how President Biden’s executive order impacts immigration and what more can be done on border policy to stem the flow of illegal migrants.

The first presidential debate with President Biden and former President Trump is next week in Atlanta. However, the Biden campaign has already ramped up the personal attacks against his opponent, zeroing in on the fact that former President Trump is now a convicted felon. The ad is running in swing states, aiming to persuade undecided and independent voters. Democratic strategist and former Biden campaign surrogate Kevin Walling breaks down the Biden team’s strategy and the President’s current standing among minority voters.
