LA City Council Removes “Homophobic” Traffic Signs
LA City Council moved to solve homophobia by removing no-U turn signs.
You really can’t make this stuff up, folks.

LA City Council is tackling serious problems, folks.
Oh, not crime or homelessness but rather so-called homophobic street signs.
Yep, LA City Council members gathered to remove “No U Turn Signs” they say promote homophobia.
The reason, they claim, is that back in the late 90s these street signs were erected in the Silver Lake area to deter hookups among gay men.
This is really something, even for woke and weird LA.
Councilman Soto-Martinez celebrated this symbolic and worthless virtue signal on social media, rejoicing that the physical remnants of bigotry were taken down.
With all the problems and all the issues plaguing Los Angeles and surrounding California counties, it really is mind-boggling that tearing down benign traffic signs is dubbed some kind of accomplishment.
Another reason I’m overjoyed is that I left LA 4 years ago!
