Tom Homan on Border Vetting Capabilities on the Southern Border: “This Is a Bigger Problem People Realize.”

Tom Homan, former acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and a visiting fellow at The Heritage Foundation, joined the Guy Benson Show today to discuss the latest on immigration following the murder and rape of a mother-of-five by an illegal immigrant. Homan had this to say on the border vetting process:

“When the secretary says they’re all vetted for release, people need to understand what vetting really means. We can only vet people against information that’s available to us… So I try to stress to people when they say that they understand. Number one, most terrorists in this world aren’t in any database. We don’t know who they are. And number two, we don’t have access to most country, 180 countries arrested at the border. We don’t have access to almost all of their criminal information. “
