Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how former President Trump is speaking to the economic reality many people in the U.S. are currently facing.

“When grocery prices are up, gasoline prices are up, rent is up. These are things that everybody’s got to pay. But not everybody, you know, has a cushion. And, you know that it is very regressive. And look, President Trump, he’s got his finger on the pulse of America better than any politician I’ve ever worked with. I’ve been doing this for 40 years. And he knows the pressure points that really affect the American people. And it’s because he listens, you know, it’s because he talks to people that are out there. And obviously, the tip tax issue, is very real for Nevada, but I think it really translates all across the country. One of the neat things that we’ve seen over the last several months is that, you know, when he’s having his press conferences or his rallies right now, he’s not just talking to the people in the Bronx. He’s not just talking to the people in New Jersey or Nevada. He’s talking to the entire country. And he’s actually very disciplined in terms of the messages that he’s getting out there about the issues that really matter to the American voters.”

Chairman Whatley also updates Jimmy on plans for next month’s RNC Convention in Milwaukee. To hear what else they talked about, listen to the podcast!
