Kevin McCarthy, former Speaker of the House, spoke to Brian Kilmeade about Donald Trump gaining more support from Silicon Valley and business leaders and broke down the roadmap Trump needs to win the Electoral College in November. McCarthy believes it will come down to Michigan, Pennsylvania or Wisconsin for Trump on Election Day. McCarthy added that Trump is expanding the playing field and looking at potentially winning in Virginia and Minnesota, which makes it harder for the Democrats. When asked if he was disappointed Nancy Mace won her primary over Catherine Templeton, who he backed, McCarthy responded, “Look, the voters were able to do what they say. The thing you learned is the Trump endorsement is very strong. My only fear is that we could come back and have a special election here. You see what came out just in the last couple days about the allegation that she took taxpayers money to refund something that she wasn’t paying for?”
