“Economist Steve Moore did this study early in the Biden administration. They looked at the amount of time Biden’s top appointees spent in business, on average, across his appointees. And the number of years for Biden’s guys was 2.4 years of business experience. This is for his like, top 68 econ appointments. In the Trump administration that number was 13 years experience, average. Of course you got some guys high, some guys low. But the point is these guys blame business because they’ve never been in business and they don’t understand business. And so it’s the straw they can grasp for.”
