Anchor of “The Story” Martha MacCallum joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the historic nature of former President Trump’s hush money trial in New York City.

“I was down at the courthouse last week for one day and probably going to go back later this week. It really makes you kind of want to take, like, a Wayback look. And I think, I wonder what this looks like in a history book. And then, you know, the 45th president of the United States was, of course, in court when he was indicted on campaign violations that had to do with the adult film star Stormy Daniels. And you’re like, wow, that happened in history. You know, it reminds me of Alexander Hamilton, who also had an affair that derailed his political career, that became this huge story way back when. And I think also about, you know, Bill Clinton. You think about, John Kennedy, like other people who were reportedly these rampant, serial womanizers. So, I mean, a lot of this story is not shocking to anybody that has followed the Trump story. And I think people need to realize that that’s the, hey, look over here part of this story. It’s not what’s going on in this story legally at all. And you just wonder what’s going on in the mind of these jurors as they watch all of this. Are you thinking, oh, clearly bad guy. I think he should definitely go to jail? Or are they thinking, what does this have to do with the price of eggs, which by the way, is skyrocketing?”
