Evening Edition: Autism Acceptance Month: Early Intervention Key In Language Development
A new study from researchers at Boston University says that language learning for those diagnosed with autism has better success when a diagnosis and therapy begins early. The early intervention has been shown to to improve cognitive, language and social function in children with autism. The CDC says that 1 in 36 children have autism, 4 in 100 in boys and 1 in 100 girls.
