Rep. Ciscomani had this to say on the possible move to oust Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House:

“Any effort to do that, it’s silly, pointless and harmful to our to our confidence in our country overall. The fact that Johnson is doing this; he didn’t do that just based on his own notion. He had many, many meetings and hearings on this…  we all had our chance to speak and talk about this. We were there for four hours. Yeah, I mean, so so the speaker has listened to both sides, and he’s made the decision that he has based on the information that he has and what he sees around the country and the world of what the threats are and defending our democracy.”
