Fighting False Allegations

Cracking a case isn’t always easy, especially when it involves a false allegation. Unfortunately, they’ve become a relatively common occurrence within the criminal justice system. While the contexts and reasonings behind false allegations vary from case to case, the harm they cause is universal.

Forensic Psychiatrist Dr. Park Dietz sheds light on the prevalence of false allegations, explains how they’re handled in court, and discusses the damage they inflict on the pursuit of truth. Later, he looks back at some of the high-profile cases he worked on throughout his career.
