Congressman Burgess Owens (R-UT) tells Brian Kilmeade he will stand by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson after Rep. Thomas Massie said earlier he will co-sponsor a resolution filed late last month by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene to oust the Speaker. Owens said, “We need to save Speaker Johnson, period.” Owens added, the republicans cannot have the House go through another period of chaos and believes Johnson will come up with a solution to solve the issues that republicans want addressed. Owens says has a lot of confidence in Johnson, calling him a great leader. Owens explains that having a small majority in the House makes it difficult to get everything they want done and the small minority of republicans pushing back on Johnson want to throw Hail Mary’s on every single play. Owens believes republicans need to be smart and strategic to get things done.
