New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the impact abortion will have on the upcoming election. Sununu said Donald Trump was spot on yesterday talking about abortion as a state issue, which was the purpose of overturning Roe v Wade. Sununu did not agree with Senator Lindsey Graham’s opposition to what Trump’s abortion comments and said, “Lindsey Graham, if I may, has been one of the worst messengers on the abortion issue nationally for Republicans.” Sununu is happy abortion is not in the top 5 issues for voters at the moment and worries if republicans keep pushing abortion as a top issue, they will lose suburban moms and independent voters. When asked if Donald Trump needs Nikki Haley and her people’s support, Sununu does not think so. Sununu says that most of Haley’s voters are going to come over for Trump in November and at the end of the day, time heals a lot of stuff and the voters who have been frustrated with Trump will get on board because of the need to do what is right for America.
