Former 2020 Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh joins Fox Across America With guest host Paul Gleiser to share his thoughts on the 2024 presidential election.

“I don’t think anyone should have any illusions that this is not going to be a razor thin election. Think about it. In 2016, there were three states combined, separated by approximately 80,000 votes, you know, out of tens of millions cast. And then in 2020, it was three different states separated by about 45,000 votes. So even though the media doesn’t portray it this way, the 2020 race was about twice as close as the 2016 race. It was much closer in 2020 than it was in 2016. I don’t see any reason why a 2024 would not be exactly the same. It’s going to be a handful of states. It’s going to be a margin of, you know, 10, 20,000 votes in each of, say, three states. And it’s going to be a grand total of 60 or 65,000 votes that separate the two across three states. And that is going to decide who the next president is going to be. And I think that the with the way the country is, the way that people’s attitudes are, the way they think about the country, the way that America is positioned on the world stage, the way our border is in chaos, the way the economy is everything, the world is in chaos. Everything tilts towards Donald Trump’s favor.”
