Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about the threat of a terror attack on American soil from ISIS-K. Graham who along with Senator Katie Britt sent a letter to Senators McConnell and Schumer asking for the Senate be given a classified briefing on the nature of terrorist threats and said there needs to be an urgent briefing to come up in real time with adequate responses. Graham worries about the ability of President Biden to deal with terrorism and cited the withdrawal from Afghanistan and how there are terrorists coming across the bordr. He said, “President Biden and quite frankly, the Congress, we’re not upping our game given the threat we face.”
On Speaker of the House Mike Johnson looking to put a bill on the floor to fund Ukraine, Graham said Johnson will put an aid package up for a vote for more weapons for Ukraine and let the Europeans deal with the economic problems Ukraine has. When Graham was asked if Ronald Reagan would give Ukraine the weapons they need, Graham said “a resounding yes.” Graham then said that Russia would not have invaded under Reagan’s watch and also does not think they would have invaded under Trump’s watch because they both show strength.
