Evening Edition: American Journalist Evan Gershkovich Has Spent A Year In Russian Jail

Family and friends of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich who was detained while on a reporting assignment in the Russia are facing an unwelcome anniversary. It has now been a year since the Kremlin accused him of being a spy conducting espionage operations. The United States from the start has called the charges ‘fiction’ saying this is Russia using Americans as political bargaining chips.
