Gray had this to say about the two questions he’d ask Shohei Ohtani:

“On this issue, I would say, how did you not notice $4.5 million out of your account until this became public?… I would ask him, why don’t you speak English? You’ve been here seven years. And, you know, while it’s certainly not a requirement, all of your teammates speak English. Everybody in the media is speaking English. It just seems to me that that would be something that would be of great benefit to him to be a better teammate, a better player and just to understand and live in the culture.”
