Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has chosen Nicole Shanahan as his vice-presidential pick. In his Tuesday speech, he welcomed Shanahan to the ticket, saying the young 38-year-old mother, lawyer, and tech entrepreneur would help him take on the rising national debt, government overreach, and political polarization. Some recent polls show President Biden and former President Trump neck-and-neck in a few battleground states. If RFK Jr. was able to get on the ballot in more states, could he play spoiler in 2024? The date is set for the first of four criminal trials that former President Donald Trump faces while running for reelection. On April 15th, jury selection will begin in New York, where he is being charged with falsifying records and making alleged hush-money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.
