Andy McCarthy on Trump’s Bail Reduction and Bragg’s ‘Falsified’ Business Charges: “The Punishment Doesn’t Fit the Crime”

McCarthy had this to say on the validity of Trump’s charges from DA Bragg:
“So, you know, the thing that’s happened here is Bragg has taken what should be a misdemeanor, most falsification of business records transactions, and carved it into 34 felony counts, which are going to be presented to the jury as falsifications of business records that Trump did in order to conceal another crime… that’s really his big objective here, a campaign finance crime on the theory that the hush money payment was a federal campaign finance, or campaign donation that had to be booked and disclosed. I think he’s completely wrong about that.”
