Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about Senator Schumer calling for regime change in Israel. Capito says she couldn’t believe the unprecedented remarks by Schumer telling a sovereign nation to replace their leadership. Capito believes the remarks are political because democrats are worried about losing support over Israel. On 2024, Capito, who has endorsed Donald Trump, says she is encouraged by new leadership in the RNC because they are looking to match the democrats on ballot harvesting to help win in 2024. When asked if there is anything congress can do regarding Donald Trump’s legal issues in New York and being forced to put up a $450 million bond, Capito said she does not think there is any congressional action that could help save the situation. Capito believes it is an example of a two tiered justice system and the way New York Attorney General Letitia James has gone after Donald Trump is unprecedented. Capito also discussed not being surprised by Senator Joe Manchin’s decision not to run for re-election. Capito thinks it is a done deal that West Virginia Governor Jim Justice will win and take Senator Manchin’s seat.
