Evening Edition: Chaos In Haiti As Gang Violence Rages On

The Caribbean island nation of Haiti is crumbling under gang fueled violence causing an economic collapse, food shortages and death across the country. Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry announced Tuesday he will resign and agree to a transitional presidential council taking power. The heavily armed gangs, lead by a former police officer who spent time in prison, have taken control of towns, attacked police stations and other infrastructure, even closing down the main international airports.
