Evening Edition: Funeral For Murdered Nursing Student Laken Riley Held

The funeral for 22-year-old Augusta University College of Nursing student Laken Riley, allegedly killed by an illegal Venezuelan migrant while on a jog on the nearby UGA campus, was held today in her hometown of Woodstock, GA. Jose Antonio Ibarra was arrested for the death of Riley and was formally charged with murder in a court appearance last week. Hundreds of mourners lined up in the rain outside the Woodstock City Church to pay their respects.
