Senate Minority Leader McConnell to Step Down

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell will step down from his post in November.

Many are wondering, why wait?

I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.

After 17 years at the helm, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced this week he will step down from the post in November.

McConnell is undoubtedly one of the most powerful Republicans in party history but at 82-years-old, he admitted the “end of (his) contributions are closer than (he) prefers.”

But does this have to do with age, or not wanting to confront the MAGA base of the party any longer?

After all, McConnell’s support of Trump has been lukewarm at best and his priorities couldn’t be further from the MAGA base.

The biggest mystery now is, who will replace him?

Will it be another neocon like Senator John Thune? Or will an America First leader step in?

My short list includes Senators Rand Paul, Tom Cotton, or Marsha Blackburn!

We don’t need another semi-progressive leading our efforts in the senate!

Drain the swamp!
