Evening Edition: NYC Mayor Adams Again Calling For Changes To Sanctuary Laws
New York City Mayor Eric Adams has once again, this time more intensely, saying the sanctuary city law needs to be modified. The Mayor said during a town hall meeting that the laws should be changed so that any migrant who commits a felony can be turned over to ICE and deported. New York City and other parts of the U.S. have seen an uptick in violent crimes committed by illegal migrants while the city spend an estimated $10 billion on migrant care through next year.
