California Governor Gavin Newsom is sending reinforcements to crime ridden Oakland.
Is this for the betterment of the community or the betterment of his presidential resume?
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
You’ll be flabbergasted to know this but, violent crime is soaring in Oakland, California.
In fact, it was up nearly 20% last year and businesses have taken notice, many of them getting the heck out of dodge. Alameda County has one of the highest crime rates in the nation.
The DA, Pamela Price, is- as you may have guessed- woke and baby soft on crime and prioritizes “equity” over prosecution or imprisonment.
Not only do those policies foster lawlessness, they look really bad for California Governor Gavin Newsom and given he is no doubt eyeing the White House, he has to clean up his state’s act real quick.
So he’s sending an army of state attorneys to Oakland and the East Bay to “boost law enforcement capacity, investigate, analyze and prosecute suspects in violent, property and serious drug-related crimes.”
Yes, all of a sudden Newsom is very worried about the optics of his state and if you think he isn’t running for president in November of 2024, if you really aren’t paying attention!
