Far too often as missing person and cold cases scatter the headlines, the victim at the center of the investigation gets forgotten. Meanwhile, families and communities are left grieving their loved one, holding on to hope for answers and justice.
One grassroots organization works to provide support and assistance to these families and law enforcement alike to bring progress to these investigations. Founder and Director of A Voice For The Voiceless Whitney Sich shares why and how she created the nonprofit and discusses how she builds campaigns to create amplification for cold cases. Later, she sheds light on both active and cold cases her organization has worked to help.
