Host of the “Kennedy Saves The World” podcast Kennedy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give her take on the social media outrage over the fact that actress Margot Robbie and director Greta Gerwig did not receive Oscar nominations for their work in Barbie.
“I watched Barbie last night for the first time. I would like to sue Mattel for two hours of my life back. And I wasn’t outraged by the man hating. I was outraged because I was promised, a watershed moment that would fill me with hope and pride in my womanhood. But what I watched was a bunch of cotton candy man-hating. And I’m like. and you’re surprised this didn’t get a bunch of Oscar nominations? And, you know, it’s like, where was Borat’s nomination? Where was Kingpin’s nomination? The Farrelly brothers should every year, if that’s the metric, is entertainment, like stuff that makes us laugh, stuff that’s entertaining, then they should get the Cecil B. DeMille award every year.”
Kennedy and Jimmy also preview the AFC and NFC Championship games. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
