Howard Kurtz on the Media Now Covering the Trump Speech: “It Was a Total Flip-Flop”

Howard Kurtz, host of Fox News Channel’s “Mediabuzz” and Host of the hit podcast “Media Buzzmeter”, joined the Guy Benson Show today to talk about the New Hampshire primary and the path for Nikki Haley moving forward in the 2024 GOP primary. Kurtz and Benson also discuss the purchasing of the Baltimore Sun from a conservative buyer and the subsequent media outrage. Kurtz had this to say on the media coverage of Trump’s speeches:

“It was a flip flop. And I was one of those who was outraged, really, by Rachel Maddow of MSNBC getting on her high horse and saying, we as a news organization, can’t be broadcasting untrue things is a cost to us… I think the network came under a lot of pressure for seeming to say, we’re not going to cover any speeches by Trump because we hate him so much… If you are in such an oppositional mode that you’re saying you are going to censor the leading candidate now the likely nominee, just because you don’t like the guy?”
