Host of Outkick’s “Tomi Lahren is Fearless” Tomi Lahren joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis suspending his 2024 presidential campaign, and explain why she believes this move indicates that it’s time for the Republican Party to unify and support former President Trump.
“Donald Trump created a movement. He really did. There wasn’t really a movement prior to Trump. You know, there was Romney, there was McCain. So not really a movement, more like a bowel movement, but not an America First movement. I’m giving you so many good ones today. But Donald Trump created a positive movement, and he is still the standard bearer of that movement. So for anybody to try to come in and, you know, usurp that was going to be a challenge. And Ron DeSantis has so many policies that are similar to Donald Trump that he couldn’t differentiate himself enough to be able to make up the difference. Nikki Haley is just really running in more of the Democrat side of that. So, you know, she was able to differentiate herself a little bit more because she’s awful. And that’s where DeSantis ran into the biggest problem. But I do believe 2028 should be his if he wants it. So I’m hoping that we see the resurgence of a Ron DeSantis in later years. I think his time is far from over.”
Tomi also tells Jimmy why she thinks former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is wasting time and resources by staying in the 2024 GOP presidential race. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
