Suspected Long Island serial killer Rex Heuermann appeared in court on Tuesday where he was charged with the murder of a fourth victim: 25-year-old Maureen Brainard-Barnes. Last summer, Heuermann was first arrested in connection to the murders of three other victims. Together, the women were known as the ‘Gilgo Four.’ Heuermann has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
