Democratic strategist Kevin Walling joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on the role Vice President Kamala Harris is going to play in President Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign over the next 10 months.
“You know, we talk all the time. Either you love Biden or you don’t. Either you love Trump or you don’t. And those are the two factors, right? So both sides have to gin up their base and turn their folks out. And the vice president is a great conduit for base engagement, you know, and I think she gave a pretty good interview on The View. She’s been crisscrossing the country. She’s on these college campuses. That’s going to be what Democrats need come November. Because the top of the ticket might not be as exciting, right? You know, speaking as a Biden guy. You had a lot of people motivated to vote, the highest turnout that we’ve seen in 100 years in 2020. And it was more of, I think, of a reflection of Donald Trump. Either you were enthusiastic to vote against him or to vote for him.”
