Host of the “Kennedy Saves The World” podcast Kennedy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give her take on the popular ‘Dry January’ trend.
“So I just wrote a piece that came out this weekend, kind of bashing Dry January. And it’s not that Dry January itself, that’s fine. If you’re doing Dry January and you’re doing it to improve your life and make long term changes, that’s fantastic. I got bullied into it last year as a social media trend. And it’s the people who just announce to everybody, especially on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook that they’re doing Dry January and they want like a medal for it. Those are the most annoying people on the planet. So I found in researching this article, there’s also Veganuary where people go vegan for a month and it’s like, you don’t impress me, you fat ass, going vegan in January. Go vegan in November. You know, it’s like, why don’t you sprout some tofu nards and go vegan in the meat months? But no one does that. It literally is like virtue signaling. That’s all it is.”
Kennedy and Jimmy also talk about the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards. Listen to the podcast to hear what else she had to say!
