William Penn Statue Goes Bye-Bye
Another monument will be removed in an effort to sound yet another worthless virtue signal!

Here we go again, folks.
The William Penn statue along with the Slate Roof house model will be removed from Philadelphia’s Welcome Park in an effort to instead “provide a more welcoming, accurate, and inclusive experience.”
Never mind that William Penn FOUNDED the state, never mind that the statue and the Slate Roof house hold historical significance. Never mind that William Penn had amicable relations with the Native Americans in the area.
That will all be erased in favor of an “expanded interpretation of the Native American history of Philadelphia.”
Biden’s National Park Service will use your tax dollars to “rehabilitate” the Welcome Park and by “rehabilitate,” they mean waste money removing history to sound some worthless virtue signal.
How does removing history do anything to honor Native Americans?
