United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin went in for an ‘elective procedure’ on December 22nd without alerting the White House and is now in critical care. Today, it was announced that he actually underwent a prostatectomy to reduce prostate cancer, a diagnosis the White House was unaware of.
