Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX-) spoke to Brain Kilmeade from Iowa where he has been supporting Ron DeSantis campaign. Roy also explained why he is not supporting Donald Trump in the primary, pointing to his failed repeal of Obamacare, not building the border wall and increasing the debt. Roy did agree that Trump was hurt by the pandemic and up against an onslaught from Congress and said bluntly, “Republicans in Congress suck.” Roy also discussed the latest on the border negations between Republicans and Democrats. Roy says if Speaker Johnson signs off on a border bill that is supported by Democrats, there are republicans who are talking about pushing Johnson out as Speaker. Roy said he does not want to go down that road but he is deeply disappointed in Johnson.
