Founder and Executive Director of Power The Future Daniel Turner joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas citing climate change as one of the reasons why a record number of migrants crossed the U.S. Southern border illegally last month.
“If the border isn’t justified by climate change, then next they’ll just talk about institutional racism. You just always pivot to a subject that gets people to shut up. That’s why Biden has funded hundreds of millions of dollars towards an environmental racism justice office because you realize, well, this isn’t working. So let’s tie the race angle in and that will shut people up. You know, and it’s the same as look at the people protesting, last I was in Manhattan. I saw them, people protesting with signs that say there can be no environmental justice until there’s justice in Gaza. And you scratch your head and say, what the hell does that even mean? Like, aside from your deeply held beliefs, there’s no environmental justice without justice in Gaza because you just tie all of it together, you know, you tie all of it together and it tries to shut people up.”
