Mary Katharine Ham: “It Would Be Racist to Hold Her to a Different Standard Than Another President”

MKH had this to say on Claudine Gay’s resignation:

“And the argument is that noticing clear ethical violations by someone from a protected class is racism itself, when in fact it is right, it would be literally racist to hold her to a different standard than another president. So you should in fact punish her in the same way that you would punish a student or any other president, because that is how you treat people equally.”
