Evening Edition: Record Number Of Refugees Around The World
The ‘Global Refugee Forum’ was held in Switzerland last week with representatives from countries and business leaders from all around the world coming together to pledge their help in solving major displacement problems. There is a record 114-million people displaced around the world due to military conflicts in places like Ukraine, Israel, Sudan and Burma, poverty and changes to their climate. The United Nations says the forum raised over 2-billion dollars towards helping refugees everywhere.
FOX’s Alex Hogan speaks with Kelly Clements, Deputy High Commissioner of the UN Refugee Agency, about the forum and where in the world those that are displaced need the most help.
