Although the holidays are meant to be a time of joy and cheer, they can be especially difficult for members of law enforcement who are out on the job. Many can take time off to spend with their families, yet police officers must remain on the job as they serve their community. It’s a difficult task, and oftentimes, officers witness heavy and horrific things on the line of work. All these factors play a critical role in the mental well-being of police.

Founding Chairman and CEO of the Community Police Relations Foundation Al Eskanazy highlights the incredible work his organization does, especially during this time of year, and advocates for mental health awareness for law enforcement officers.
