Hemingway had this to say about the lawsuit against the U.S. State Department:
“When you censor publications, you’re actually violating everyone’s free speech rights because the First Amendment right to speech is not just the freedom of the press. It’s not just about your ability to say something. It’s also about other people’s ability to hear you. And when you’re limiting other people’s ability to just know what all the facts are in a given situation, it affects it affects whether they can be truly free and make election decisions.”
