Evening Edition: First Set of Hostages Released In Israel-Hamas Deal
A four-day truce in the Israel-Hamas war took effect early Friday in order to secure the release of the first set of terrorist held hostages. There were thirteen women and children released in a deal that will set free up to fifty hostages being held. Israel’s end of the deal, besides not carrying out any military operations, is to release nearly forty Palestinian prisoners from Ofer Prison, in the West Bank.
FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with FOX’s Alex Hogan, from the Schneider Children’s Medical Center, Petah Tikva, Israel, about the release and what could happen at the end of the four day truce.
