Well, aside from having a wide selection of stylish clothing, they were all run by the same guy, Millard “Mickey” S. Drexler.
In the 1980s when it appeared as though Anne Taylor would have to close its doors, Mickey was named CEO and victoriously revived the well-known fashion company, doubling its number of stores. He joins Liz to discuss how a kid from the Bronx managed to become one of the most successful retail clothing CEOs in history.
