Evening Edition: Inflation Slows But Prices Remain High

October’s consumer price index was flat and inflation slowed but prices of goods remain high. Besides the high prices at the grocery store, consistently high inflation means interest rates, home loans and financing for a new car will all remain high. While the CPI showed inflation was increasing at a slower rate, how and when will Americans see a decrease in everyday expenses?

FOX’s John Saucier speaks with Peter C. Earle, economist and author of American Institute for Economic Research’s “Everyday Price Index”, about the state of inflation, how it is impacting Americans and will there be some relief from high prices.
