After graduating from college, he moved to Phoenix and pursued a career as a field geologist. However, on the morning of July 23, 2021, Daniel disappeared, prompting a missing person search. Less than a month later, his jeep was found crashed in a desert ravine. His phone, wallet, keys, and clothes were found at the site, but no traces of Daniel were present.
