Co-host of “The Bottom Line” on Fox Business and co-host of the “From the Kitchen Table” podcast Sean Duffy joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his reaction to former Ohio Democratic Congressman Tim Ryan saying President Biden should drop out of the 2024 race.
“So Tim Ryan is kind of a Blue Dog Democrat. He kind of has some progressive leanings. But yeah, he kind of had some Republican tendencies. It’s a huge deal. And the dirty secret is, Democrats aren’t dumb. They see what everyone sees about Joe Biden. The man is failing. Whether it’s, you know, verbally, policy wise, just physically. And they see his poll numbers down at 36 percent and they go, this this guy probably can’t win. The problem Democrats have is that if Joe Biden gets out, Democrats have a civil war because you’re stuck with Kamala Harris on one side, who’s a minority woman, who can’t win because she’s horrible. Or you have like a guy like Gavin Newsom on the other side who’s a White guy who Democrats hate. And so that civil war will be intense. They don’t want that civil war. So they analyze it and think that Joe Biden is better than the civil war. One of the most loyal blocs of voters for the Democrats are African American women. You don’t go with Kamala Harris, those ladies are staying at home. They’re not coming out and Democrats don’t win.”
