Rep. Mike Gallagher on the Dangers of Allowing China to Control TikTok: “A Near Suicidal Strategy”

Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-WI/8), Chairman of the House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, member of the House Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, and a US Iraq veteran, joined the Guy Benson Show today to discuss the current threat of China on the United States amongst the current global unrest. Guy and Gallagher discuss the danger of TikTok and how the youth continue to get their information from sources sponsored by the CCP and foreign adversaries. Rep. Gallagher had this to say on the threat of TikTok on the youth of the US:

“The risk isn’t that TikTok is a waste of time.. its that it can shape the information that you get and what you believe to be true… young Americans don’t just use TikTok for dancing videos… they use it for news… This is yet another reason we need to ban or force a sale… of TikTok.”
