Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why she supports the $14.3 billion stand-alone bill to provide assistance to Israel amid its war with Hamas.

“This was something that actually last year, I sat in before the rules committee and testified that we need single issue bills and we need 72 hours to read them. And there should be no exception to this because it’s within the fine print. And for me, this is actually pretty personal. You know, 11 years ago, my family, we lost our home to an Obama era housing program. We were homeless for months because in the fine print on an 1800 page bill, there was all sorts of nasty provisions that allowed the government and entities to take people’s properties without notice. And so my family, along with millions across the country, found themselves homeless because people in Washington, one, didn’t bother to read the bill. And two, it was tucked in as a poison pill in a massive multi issue package that was passed in the dead of night. So for me, it’s pretty personal that we have single issue bills, that we have the time to read them. And in something as serious as this, funding Israel and really taking a stand in this war that is raging not just of Hamas and Hezbollah, but, you know, this notion that we have people in America now saying terrorism is okay and justified. It’s disgusting. This is important.”
