McDonald’s & Chipotle Set to Hike Prices in CA

Californians, Biden AND Newsom-onics are coming to a fast food restaurant near you!

Everything is more expensive in California and that now includes fast food and you can thank Governor Newsom for that.

Both McDonald’s and Chipotle will raise menu prices in California thanks to a law signed by Newsom hiking wages for workers to a $20-per-hour minimum.

While these wage hikes are touted by Newsom and supporters as “fair,” in reality, they are actually counterproductive.

According to McDonald’s, wage hikes plus inflation has led to fewer low-income Americans frequenting their restaurants in the last quarter. They can’t afford what used to be a cheap meal!

These restaurants might be paying workers more but if they have to hike prices to compensate, the very people they are hurting are likely the same people they are pretending to cater to!

I’ll also say this, if these government-mandated wage hikes continue, don’t be surprised if the person making your Big Mac isn’t a person at all, but rather an iPad!

You know what’s worse than a low-paying job? NO JOB AT ALL!
