Evening Edition: Israel’s Ambassador To The United Nations Demands Secretary-General Resign

The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations is blasting the Secretary-General and calling for his resignation following his comments at a meeting of the Security Council Tuesday. While Secretary-General recognizes the terror attack by Hamas as ‘horrifying’ he also said, “It is important to also recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum.” Ambassador Erdan’s call for the secretary-general to resign is the first time an Israeli Ambassador has called for the ouster of a sitting U.N. secretary-general.
