Oklahoma Republican Congressman Kevin Hern joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to explain why he’s one of the nine GOP lawmakers running to be the next Speaker of the House.

“Chairing the Republican Study Committee, which is the largest group of Republicans on Capitol Hill, it’s 176 members out of 221, so 80 percent of the entire Republican body. And I’m not sure of that since we’ve been in the majority in January. And we have in our membership, we have in the hardest right of the Freedom Caucus to the most modern of the problem solvers and everything in between. And every single week I have the ability to listen to dialog with everybody. We have weekly meetings, you know, create policies together that we all agree on as we move forward. So I believe I’m in the best shape of anybody when you combine that with my outside experience also. There would be nobody else in the race with the experience that I have outside of, you know, you know, the people that are here that’s been in politics for a long time.”

Rep. Hern also talks about how his experience as a McDonald’s franchise owner would be beneficial if he does become the next speaker. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
