Retired NYPD inspector Paul Mauro joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how people from terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah could easily enter our country illegally due to the lack of security at the Southern border.
“What people don’t realize is that our adversaries in this situation have a significant presence in Latin America. You’ve got the tri border region, which is Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina, utterly lawless. The most coherent entity in the tri border region is Hezbollah. So, you know, they’re there. The former vice president of Venezuela is a Persian. He ancestry goes back to the Middle East. He is a designated drug kingpin. The U.S. government wants him. And one of the reasons they want him to prosecute is for providing false passports for, ready for it, Hamas and Hezbollah. And that’s right off our southern border. Remember, Venezuelans are a significant portion of who’s been coming into the southern border. So the idea that, well, you know, these are not places that we have to worry about. That’s a complete canard. We have this soft white underbelly that we’re not paying attention to. There’s a reason Iran has opened six new embassies since 2006 in Latin America. They recognize that it’s a way to bottle us up and to get to us. And Iran sees itself as punching at that weight. And that’s why they were willing to go ahead with this Hamas thing. Because they do not want to lose that stature in the Middle East.”
Plus, Paul and Jimmy discuss whether they think Israel is going to move forward with a ground invasion of Gaza. Listen to the podcast to hear what else he had to say!
